This does not cover improper care or neglect. While all our films have a very strong scratch resistant coating stronger then glass (you can take two ought steel wool and rub on it all day without a scratch, although two ought steel wool scratches glass), it can still be scratched. The life time warranty covers all defects in manufacturing (not neglect).
Seal Warranty
Classic Sun Control guarantees our solar window film with not harm the seal of your double pane or triple pane windows for 3 years. So even if your windows are older and out of their manufacturer's warranty, Classic puts a new 3 year seal failure warranty on your older windows? Why? Because our films do not cause seal failure. It is true if you put cheaper high heat absorbing tint on windows (say, cheap Walmart 'limo' tint) within one season thermal pane seals will fail and moisture and cloudiness will set in. Classic Sun Control guarantees our solar window film with not cause glass breakage windows for 5 years. So even if your windows are older and out of their manufacturer's warranty, Classic puts a new 5 year glass breakage failure warranty on your older windows? Why? Because our films do not cause glass breakage. It is true if you put cheaper high heat absorbing tint on windows (say, cheap Walmart 'limo' tint) within one year glass breakage can occur. So even if your windows have a 15 or 20 year warranty on seal failure or glass breakage from defect, Classic puts a new matching warranty on your new windows for the duration of the original warranty? Why? Because our films do not cause glass breakage or seal failure. It is true if you put cheaper high heat absorbing tint on windows (say, cheap Walmart 'limo' tint) within one year glass breakage or seal failure can occur. Our films will not do this. FormulaOne® High Performance Auto Tint by LLumar® Lifetime Warranty
FormulaOne® High Performance Auto Tint by LLumar® (“the Product”) is sold with a lifetime warranty by the manufacturer, Solutia’s Performance Films Division, against cracking, crazing, demetallizing, delaminating or color change when installed by an authorized FormulaOne® dealer. The Warranty set forth is the manufacturer’s sole warranty. The manufacturer specifically disclaims all other warranties of any kind inclusively, by the way of example, the implied warranty of fitness for particular purpose and the implied warranty of merchantability. In the event the product is found to be defective as covered under the warranty conditions, it will be fully replaced at no charge to the vehicle owner by a FormulaOne® dealer. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to provide the vehicle at his/her expense to the facility of the authorized dealer. The warranty card (attached below) and proof of purchase, showing the type of film and date of installation, must be presented to the FormulaOne® dealer to receive warranty service. Your warranty rights may be affected by state laws concerning warranties by manufacturers. Solutia products are to be used in compliance with all applicable laws in which the vehicle is registered. Tint installed illegally is not covered by warranty for any reason. It is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner to insure the film is in compliance with all state or provincial laws should vehicle registration location change at any time.
The FormulaOne® Lifetime Warranty is extended to secondary vehicle ownership and is transferable as long as the original Warranty Card is maintained with and identifies the vehicle of the original FormulaOne® High Performance Automotive Tintinstall.
A COPY OF YOUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT AND WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD ARE REQUIRED FOR WARRANTY
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
● DO NOT use abrasive pads cleaners or industrial strength glass cleaners.
● Use a soft cloth with a mild soap and water solution. That’s it!
● Allow film to cure for 3 to 5 days before lowering windows.
● REMEMBER: Your new film takes 2 to 3 weeks to fully cure.
You may see some haze or condensation during this period.
